Job or Internship for a Junior college?

I'm a junior engineering college student, who works every fri,sat,sun as a lifeguard. it pays pretty well $13.75, and I don't really do anything tbh and I study most of the time if no one's around, especially since it's offseason and there's barely any people.

Is it worth it to try and go for internships during the oncoming summer season? or continue working for a stable source of extra income?
