Is it unprofessional to put “NO RECRUITERS - INMAILS WILL BE DELETED AND IGNORED” in your LinkedIn headline?
I get constant recruiter spam and I’m starting to get really frustrated by it - I’m in a high demand field (Web Development) but it’s like they don’t even read my profile and send me jobs way outside my experience or just not relevant to what I actually do. In times where I needed to look for work I have followed up with MANY of them when I needed work (50+) and 0 actually got me an interview. In my personal experience they’re just a complete waste of time.
I’ve gotten all my jobs up to this point through traditional application processes or people I knew.
It’s just so, so annoying to get these constant notes. Is it unprofessional to put this in my headline?
