So I just had an interview today, and I think it went really well. It's been a few years since I've been job searching, but with every other job I've gotten, I had sent a handwritten thank you note. My current boss told me that was what got me the job I have now when it was really close between myself and other candidates, so it has worked in the past. So, I did send one out today. What I'm starting to wonder is, should I send a quick thank you email? I'm starting to worry that the thank you note is outdated, and it might take too long to get there. But I'm also worried that sending both might be overkill. The position has been posted for awhile, and the process has been slow, but I'm still worried. What should I do?? For some context, this is for a banking job in small town, rural America.
