I had a phone interview scheduled for 2:00 PM today for an entry level position at a company I really admire. It has actually been my goal to get a job with this company since I started graduate school, so I was very excited when I was offered an interview. I spent all weekend prepping, and even took a personal day at work so that I would be prepared and focused for the interview.
2 pm rolled around... no call. By 2:20 I still had not received a call. I checked our email correspondence to make sure that I was not supposed to call them, and that they had the correct phone number. Everything was correct. I emailed the HR rep to inquire, and offered several times that I am available to reschedule. I still have not heard back. What gives? Should I assume that this job is a no go? If this has happened to you, what did you do?
