I currently work from 5am-2pm at my current job. I hate getting up early but I love being able to get home in time to spend time with my daughter right as she gets home from school.
I haven’t been too happy with my current job. There’s a few people I don’t like interacting with and there’s not much room for improvement as of late.
I accepted an offer at another company making a bit more money. I was excited until I started to think about my new schedule. I would now be working 8-5 and have to deal with rush hour traffic and BART train full capacity.
The quality of life is weighing on me. I don’t love my current job but what I do love is the ability to leave at 2pm and spend time with my daughter before she grows up.
I don’t know what to do and it’s all I can think about.
