I have a connection in charge of a branch of a business where we both live. He called me and had me come in to fill out an application for an opening. He said after i did that i would have to wait a few weeks to get called in for an interview with the regional manager. I put the Application in about 3 weeks ago and haven't heard from him since. At the time, he said it would be a few weeks before I heard anything about coming in for the interview, so I'm not necessarily concerned with the time frame, but I tried calling him a week ago for an update, didn't get an answer and left a voice mail. He never got back to me about my message I left.
I wanted to call again to see if I could get a hold of him, but I'm not sure if I should, or should wait a bit, as I don't want to pester him. I assumed he probably didn't have any info or forgot, and that's why I didn't hear back. I'm almost positive that if they filled the position, he would have called me to tell me, considering he called me out of nowhere about the job in the first place.
