i am a college student who has worked with the same small business waffle bakery for two years. recently quite a few of my coworkers have resigned. and i recently found a much better paying/convenient job at a nail salon. since the beginning of october, i have been working both jobs plus having classes. i am not in an easy major so its been a STRUGGLE. i wanted to do both jobs to help out my original boss, since he has helped me so much over the past two years, i feel like i owe him??? i need to quit due to my new job needing me to pick up more shifts etc etc. its just feels different quitting this type of job because there is not many of us working. i think two weeks notice is too little? but i would prefer that? but i dont want to screw anyone over. anyone else dealt with quitting a job they like and don't know how to go about it?
