So my situation is that the place I applied for has one vacancy and two applicants (me being one of them). I had my interview last week and it went well, the owner emailed me saying she would let me know her decision by Wednesday (it’s now Thursday afternoon).
She sent that email last Thursday and I have emailed her three times. First I replied to her email thanking her for the interview (on Thursday). Second I replied updating her on my contact number (Sunday). Third was early this morning (after the business was opened) enquiring about her decision, basically asking what my status is.
She hadn’t replied to any of my emails. However, she messaged me soon after the third email asking for my GPA. This meant that she received all my three emails because she knew I changed my number and the timing is too much of a coincidence with my last email.
However, after I replied what my GPA was, she said back “Okay”, and that’s basically the whole conversation. No hinting if I was accepted or rejected. As of now, around 3 hours before business closed, she hasn’t given me any more updates.
My question is, should I ask her again on Whatsapp (where she’ll definitely read my message) or should I wait for another day?
I don’t want to come across as disinterested in the job by not asking or rude/pushy by asking a second time today since she didn’t respond to my email.
