I graduated this year. No plans for higher education due to familial circumstances. I was in Virtual Enterprise as a graphic designer for my senior year. I'm not a very social person and I like doing things that doesn't require much creativity, just to get things done. I've been doing creative writing as a hobby for about 5 years and know firsthand how much that actually burns me out. Graphic design was no different.
I got a second interview tomorrow at a start-up advertising company as a management trainee. Problem is, I'm having doubts and I feel like it's not the right kind of job for me because, as stated before, I'm not a very social person and the previous times I've tried to take charge failed.
I tried seeing if any one was willing to take me on as an apprentice in skilled trade because even though it physically tires me out, I can recover much more quickly. Problem is, all the apprenticeships I've looked at requires previous experience, which I have only two summers helping out my dad. I don't think it counts because he taught me nothing, just to help carry stuff and the like.
I really need some help here; I don't know what to do.
