Got this after an interview, is it a rejection email or just an automated response email?

Hello,

I am a college student, Last month I had an on-campus interview for a summer internship with an engineer for a big company and I thought it went really well. The engineer told me he doesn't know the detail about the hiring process but decision will be made before the end of the year. The interview was on Oct 18th, and 4 days later I got this email.

Do you guys think it's a rejection email or just a generic automated email after the interview? I really can't tell haha.
