A recruiter from Aflac contacted me and said they would offer to pay for me to get my insurance sales license.
I graduated with an English degree and have been interviewing for jobs in my field--marketing, publishing, some general office work--no luck. I make okay money as a freelancer and am able to steadily pay my student loans, but I want...y'know, more money.
I'm not sure how easy it is, and not sure how profitable the area is. I don't live in the city, but I live *near* some cities. Could I manage around 40k a year working 40 hours a week? How much of a hustle is a job like this, really? I have a feeling that the Aflac representatives aren't being totally honest and/or realistic about "first year numbers."
