I've noticed quite a few posts as of recently voicing some concerns in regards to some of the recruiters they came across.
So I was wondering, what signs of bad recruiters did you come across?
While I was still signed up to LinkedIn I came across a fair few, at least from my point of view.
They would call up during regular work hours (eventhough I had pointed out I prefer to be contacted by email for that exact reason) .
I had a few that would be reluctant to give me any further information to the job specs, pay, or anything else I'd ask. Often even go so far as to ghost me if I asked about pay or benefits (but I had a job, if I were to change I'd want to make at least the same if not more money in the new role, so I'd like to know, otherwise we are all wasting out time here).
The other thing is how many roles I was offered that were basically way below my experience level.
It was just often fairly obvious that they hadn't done much research ahead of time.
What were your experiences?
