Questions about Brassring.com

Hi, I applied for a job and the company I applied at uses brassring.com for their applications. However I have a few questions about how it's worked.

I got an email saying my application resumé has been received. However, I don't think I actually submitted a resumé, and I am unsure that I've actually done the application. It asked me some questions about personal information (name, address, phone #, etc.), and I had to fill out a survey/assessment — I don't know if that was the application?

Additionally, the email says please be advised that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Does this mean that if I'm not selected for an interview, I just won't know?
