Negotiating Job Location

Hey Everyone,

So I grew up and lived in California all of my life. I have all my family, friends and girlfriend here. So I just got a job offer from a fortune 500 company, and I am super excited for it, but the only issue is that they want to send me to a location outside of California. I really want to take this job, but relocation is simply not an option for me. My family needs me here in California and I need them. Is it possible to negotiate location? Is there anyway to convince them to keep me in California? The company actually has offices in California amd I believe they have a few openings with my job title here in CA as well. Any thoughts will be appreciated! Thank you for your time!
