Wow the game has changed. I’ve been a mom for 30 years. You used to search the paper or hit the street, put in an application and you sold yourself basically to get hired on. Now it’s a whole new world. My problem is I don’t have anything to put on a resume. I’ve been a stay at home mom for the most part for so many years there’s no job experience to put down. That one job I held at Kmart in 1987? How do I make myself look like someone an employer would pick up off the pile for a chance to get an interview? What do I say at an interview? The questions they are bound to ask are going to be based on work experience. I just feel like I’m never going to get a chance. I’m 50 years old. I really need a Job. Is there somewhere I can go to show me what to do?
