Quitting after years of working to take a break abroad

Went to work immediately after college and it's been a few years. Didn't go on any fancy holidays or mass parties and with covid last year, all these plans were impossible as well.

It's been work - hanging around the city with friends on weekends - home, and the cycle repeats.

Call me privilege or foolish, but honestly I just need a break. My line of work prevents taking 2 weeks off or more at once because of our role and the only way one can even consider a month long break is to quit as there is no such thing as unpaid time off, it's more effective to hire someone else as well.

Also, I am almost certain I can land a job after the break due to my industry eventhough it may mean a month or two of job hunting. Also I've been looking for a pay hike so a job transition would certainly mean an increase in pay which my current company can't justify, not for the time being.

So to me it seems ideal since I'm changing companies anyway ? And I actually get to live life for awhile instead of working my life away.

Not sure, kinda lost and burnt, pretty much why I need the break.
