Hi guys! I got offered a position at my dream company. I submitted my background check without thinking some things.
For my position I left, I moved to sales at the end of my career there to accommodate my work schedule. I put the manager title I spent most of my time there. The background check from this discrepancy and asked me to clarify. I told them that I spent most my time as that position and moved by choice.
Second is my education. They’re trying to verify my BA but I called to tell them it was in progress and I currently just have a certificate. I entered in the info wrong but now I’m afraid this error will make me look bad. The lady on the phone didn’t seem to worried, but I guess I feel like I am.
I don’t have any criminal charges, or a bad driving record. So I’m just worried about the job reference and the schooling one and if it’ll fail me and retract my job offer. Anybody have any tips or experience with if this will have me fail it?
