Is it better to do a phone or video interview?

I have a short job interview scheduled for Wednesday. I was provided a link to the meeting but they gave me a phone number as well “if I wished to connect via audio instead”. I’d prefer to do that so I can have all my notes and the job description in front of me (and my internet connection isn’t the best) but could that hurt my chances in any way?
