I am 21… I worked at an insurance company for three years making 75k I was a really good asset to the company and they really liked me. When we started working from home I got really lazy and tired. My 10 month old daughter was home with me so I was not performing my best due to distractions. I wanted to get her in day care but I couldn’t find one I liked. When it came down to it, I got fired because I put a customer on hold for 10 minutes to take care of my baby. I know, bad idea… (I’m a single mother) and i decided to take some time off work to focus on her since I had it in my savings. Now that I’m back at work at a new job I’m only making 35k a year and I feel like I can’t keep up with my bills or spending tendencies at this rate. I’m digging into my savings. I have sales experience but I don’t have a college degree. Everything I find that’s out of sales at least wants me to have a bachelors degree to make that money. I begged my supervisor for my job back, they took it into consideration but denied. I don’t want to have to become a stripper to make the money I want so I can be successful, and school is 4 years till I reach that type of income again. I need to pay for my daughters day care, food, car, bills, ect. My income I make now pretty much leaves me with nothing left. I don’t know what to do and sorry if I sound entitled to something better I just know my worth.
TLDR: I want to make the same income I was making at my old job but I can’t find something that will allow me to make the same without a degree. Idk what to do.?
