This would be the second interview and the reason I want to decline is because I had the initial interview a week ago. I called at the scheduled time and my interviewer was “unavailable”, according to the receptionist. She text me back an hour later, apologizing for “being tied up” and asked if I could do a different time that day.
We ended up meeting for 15 minutes and she said she would email me some information. Hours later, she emails me and asks for my availability for an in person, which I provided the following morning.
Ghosted. No response. It took a week for them to get back to me to see if I could meet tomorrow afternoon, or provide times for NEXT week.
I’m over it at this point and feel disrespected. I’m happy with my current role and don’t need this job. How do I decline? Should I state the reasons?
