I graduated from bachelors in microbiology, but started hating lab work. It got so bad that I didnt even try to find work in my major. I was freelancing as a content writer for a couple years here n there. Got referrals from employers and just kept doing that as a hobby during university. Moved to a different country. Work part time at a gas station too. I want to go into marketing and communications, but have no formal education. I have 3 years of customer service experience, minimum wage job. I am applying to jobs in customer service that pay more but no luck. It feels hopeless. I dont want to go to college right now to pursue marketing coz everything is online n I want to network more to be able to score a job later on. This doesnt seem like an option with virtual classes. And this job is barely sustaining me. I feel stuck and I dont know how to break this cycle.
