Received equipment for a job I didn’t end up accepting

In June I was offered a position by a competitor in my industry. I emailed the team June 26 saying I was accepting. By June 28 my employer had a strong counter offer and I chose to accept it. I then notified the HR team at the competitor and told them I was not going to onboard and they responded back with an acknowledgment.

2 weeks later I received a laptop and other peripheral devices for the job. A few days after I received a generic FedEx RMA code with instructions to go 90+ miles to the nearest FedEx office and drop it off.

I wasn’t going to make a 3 hour round trip for their mistake, so I kept everything in its original boxes and brought it along the next time I was in a larger city with a FedEx office. Well, that happened to be 3 months later and the rma code was no longer valid.

I’ve had no contact from the competing employer I turned down and the company that shipped out the tech hasn’t contacted me.

How can I get this stuff back to where it belongs with the least cost and driving/effort on my part? It’s taking up a decent amount of space too. All the emails I have from the companies are along the lines of “donotreply@xxxxxx.com”. Frankly, I don’t want to contact the team directly because I’ve burned that bridge declining the job. At what point do I just keep it?
