As the title says, I need to quit a job I was supposed to start monday because I just received an other job offer that’s more interesting and directly connected to my studies.
Basically, I applied to a job a couple weeks ago that requires only a highschool diploma (I have a bachelor’s degree) because I badly needed some money and it pays pretty well.
However, during the process, an other company contacted me to offer me an entry-level job (I just finished school) in my field. It’s an amazing opportunity I can’t pass up.
So how should I do this ? I’ve already talked to my future manager and she seems super nice. Should I contact her directly or should I speak to the HR department ?
I should also specify that the job I was supposed to start is a 9 months contract.
