This is basically a summary of the email chain between me and the company I'm applying to work for:
Company: "We'd like to interview you via Zoom! Which of the following time/days would you prefer: X, Y, or Z?"
Me: "Thank you! I'm available on X."
Absolute silence. Few business days pass until X
Me, during the supposed time of the interview: "I have not received the Zoom link."
Company: "Unfortunately X time was already filled before your response. However, we have adjusted our schedule so that you can be interviewed on W" (W was not in the original list)
I accepted the interview offer and actually received a confirmation email this time. I don't know what, if any, signal this gives in terms of chances of getting hired. The fact they went out of their way to accommodate me is nice, but I still feel really disrespected considering how this messed up my entire week's schedule.
