Hi. I work in sales (have been in start-up environments/small companies so far). I am currently an SDR and have been in my role for 11 months. I have been meeting targets so far, although my company is so small the targets are nebulous. My base salary is the glamorous salary of $29,000 CAD per year, and I'll earn about $35,000 a year. No benefits. I just got an offer to be an SDR at another company for $50,000 base salary, benefits. Haven't accepted it yet, haven't told my boss at my current job. How bad does it really look to move on after less than a year? Am I supposed to stick at a place paying well below entry level salary (usually about $45-50000 for my type of role) just because I took a job when I needed one?
