I applied for a new job that pays about $4 more an hour. It is an office setting. They asked me for my current managers name and phone number as they want to call and check up on my performance before an interview. I am 100% not comfortable with this.
My performance is great I just don’t want my manager to know that I am looking for a job. What should I tell the new company?
