Need help with phrasing answer regarding salary

I have a job interview soon with an organisation that I know pay less than the job I have today. I'm wondering how I should phrase my answer when they ask what salary I'm aiming for.

I earn about $3700 a month. The job I'm applying for pays between $2800-3200. They will know my current salary because I sent them my contract when they wanted a work certificate.

I have a masters degree but not a ton of work experience. The tasks I deal with now are likely more complex than what they would be at the job I'm applying to.

When they ask about pay, how do I best phrase my answer? Obviously I want as much as possible but I realise getting the same as I have now is close to impossible.
