I am a teacher who is trying to make it in the world of computer science. After the last year of trying to teach on Zoom due to covid, I got burnt out and needed a career change. So I decided to do programming since I have a natural talent with computers and I have the chance to network through my dad.
I need help deciding how to optimize my resume. I have been trying to take online courses part time to show myself that I can program. I have just finished a couple python courses so I feel confident in that.
The question now is what other languages/courses/topics should I take classes in? I want to be a software developer but I also want to eventually make the jump to data science. Should I look into HTML? SQL? JavaScript? Any suggestions or advice is very appreciated! Thanks in advance!
