Looking to change career paths after termination. A job I’m pretty interested in is quality assurance analyst . The job description is pretty vague . Anyone do this for a living and could give insight?
For context - I see a lot of QA jobs that require extensive technical background. This particular role is within the finance / insurance industry and the requirements are vague - audits, reporting, but nothing too extreme .
A little on my background, I have no degree. I worked for a large corporation (wholesaler) as a client service supervisor, I lead a team of 11. Prior to that I did just regular client service roles. Worked heavy with customers , as well as internal sales consultants to help the overall sale process. So it was alot of data entry in a DOS system, and customer service. I wanted to get into operations at that job that was my next step. I love analyzing, entering data, finding root causes for issues, finding more efficient ways to get processes done, the busy work. I am considering catering my resume to this role but I’m just unsure about what they actually do!
