I recently got promoted to a low level manager position, however the position requires me to train and coach employees. I am an introvert, talking to people physically tires me. However, this position needs me to be on call with people at least for 3 hours per day and I'm so tired.
I'm so mentally drained by the end of work that I straightaway sleep after work and only wake up near the time for me to work again. This is very troubling, however I know that this is a great move in terms of my career and perhaps it could help me overcome my social anxiety. But at the same time I'm very tired.
Anyone has any tips on how to cope?
