Hi so I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm just seeking for some advice right now because I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
Basically I've been working at this place part-time during the summer (I'm a college student), which means I would get around 3-4 shifts every week. For the past 2 weeks or so, I haven't been given any shifts (I once didn't have work for an entire week so I didn't question it). However, just a couple of days ago I logged in to WhenIWork (the app we would use) to check my schedule, only to find myself without any accounts (most likely meaning I've been taken off from the workplace) without any notice.
I'm actually not worried about losing the job or the pay, but I'm just wondering if them letting me go is the case, is that even allowed? Has anyone else who used WhenIWork experienced this before? And how do I go about contacting my boss about it? I know I should say something but I've never had this happen to me so I'm just super lost.
