Help: More responsibility and a dangling carrot of pay increase

Need advice, please, but first a little about me. I work as a writer at a content marketing company. I'm okay at my job, but actually I've gotten a lot better over the past year. I have anxiety. I prefer to work in a team because it helps me manage my anxious feelings about my work and my colleagues are nice and give good subbing advice.

At the beginning of lockdown, the CEO sold the company to our parent company, a faceless corporation that sucks the life out of everything. I was pretty sheltered from the changes because I work on an established client team and it got me through the pandemic. Good news. A lot was going on.

Two weeks ago, one of the senior managers left and his clients have been put onto the rest of the editorial team. No replacement. Actually, almost everyone from the company has gone, most of the senior editorial staff. I now have £100k worth of clients to manage and write content for - I actually think this might be manageable, but I've been a wreck of anxiety and stress for two weeks.

My other boss calls me today and says, "we've actioned a raise for you, £3k. It might happen in a week or a few months. We have a grand plan for you next year with a title change and big raise." I haven't had a payrise in four years - this is because the company was overpaying staff, was dangling on a thread and then Covid. I'm on a pretty good salary, though, especially for the level of work I produce. I'm gracious on the call, have a full blown panic attack after, demand £5k and that it must start from today, even if it's actioned later.

Boss basically said, "I thought we discussed this," but schedules a call for Monday to chat in person. But it's going to be the same story. "It'll get actioned when it's actioned." I believe him, the CEO is a cock, but equally it could be done. I'm a pushover. I can't think on my feet because I get too anxious. He tells me to reply to this other meeting request for these two new clients that I'm basically ignoring as leverage while I think it through.

Ultimately, I think they've lost me. The nice content marketing company I worked for is now a monster company. I was sick of it anyway. I didn't get raises before and I certainly won't now. I'm thinking of waiting till end of the month so that I can work out my notice period of three months, enjoy the Xmas hols on their dime, then take a month of in Jan and hopefully have something new lined up for Feb 2022. I'm sick of the job. Sick of it. And I need to reset after this fucking pandemic nightmare with something mindless and hopefully a bit hands on.

I'm based in London. The job market is meant to be banging, but it seems like a lot of the writing jobs are below my pay. I want a break from it anyway.

Anyway, there's my story. What do you think? Any advice on approaching this chat on Monday? Thanks in advance.
