So I’m 17 (U.K) and looking for a job to an extent. I’m a pretty high level athlete now so I train 6 days a week, so the mix of college, sport plus a job will most likely be overbearing. However, my family is struggling quite a lot (not to throw my burdens onto everyone but 🤣) I need money for my athletics, university next year and resources like a laptop etc. It’s hard because my family doesn’t want me to work so I can focus on my athletics. But I want to be able to treat them and myself if you get me (the amount of pay really isn’t a problem for me)
What sort of jobs do you think would be flexible enough to accommodate this? (I can work on the days I train just not as much hours). If you think there is none that is completely fine, I’m just not very good at understanding anything to do with jobs no matter how much advice people give but I feel like Reddit could help?
I have obviously thought about the basic jobs first such as KFC, McDonald’s etc but the areas around me are understaffed a lot and they have to work more hours to fill in this gap. I think doing a job with so many roles may also stress me out a bit but that might just be me being a bit weak 🤣😬
I have used sites like indeed etc but I don’t think I would be a fit for the majority of jobs on there. But I’m willing to listen to all suggestions on here.
