Searching for a good intermediary job for a career change

I just left a sales job and am looking for a good intermediary job to hold me over so that I can pursue courses in programming. Prior to my sales job I did work for FedEx and there’s always the ability for me to return to FedEx as a material handler but I’d rather not throw my back out. Was hoping Reddit can help me be pointed in the right direction.
