I’m a 28 year old man who can decide for himself whatever type of career he wants to have, but for some reason it’s still difficult to handle judgement from my parents.
I went to school for engineering and worked a few jobs as an engineer and just hated all of them even though I do well at them and received promotions. I’m an extrovert and it’s just not the best career for my personality.
I want to try recruiting because it’s more and extroverted type of role and you can earn a lot. Whenever I visit my parents and my mom hears I’m thinking about becoming a recruiter she just won’t have it. She tries to do everything she can to convince me not to and doesn’t give a damn about why I’m interested in it.
