Is this legal or illegal for my job to do for hours(PT/FT)?

I don’t know if this belongs here so please let me know.

I(23F) work in a food service gas station(PA),(sorry I don’t want to give full name. If I need to, I will). I work over 36 hours a week(full time) while my application says I’m a part time employee. I got this job because I have student loans to pay. I wanted to know if it’s legal for them to do this because I will need benefits before I turn 25(no longer will be able to go through mom’s insurance).
