Is it silly to avoid applying to a company you know has a very labor-intensive and involved interview process?

I'm a good fit for a lot of positions at a company near me that is notorious for having an extremely...involved and complex interview process. We're talking many phone and in-person interviews including an hour long presentation about your work experience and skills.

Honestly, to me, this just seems like asking way too much of a candidate. I'm interested in working for the company but I'm avoiding applying almost out of principle because I strongly feel that their entire process is just way too labor intensive.
