Is it normal for a company to ask for your credit score before scheduling interview?

The very first line in the email says “Thanks for your reply. Your next step in this hiring process is to complete our new employee questionnaire.”

But there’s no questionnaire attached.

As for the credit score part, it says “please note that our company requires all potential employees to have a credit score on file for your interview. We ask for this because you will have access to company credit cards for business expenses. We request that each potential employee complete this as this ensures that our future employee is credible, trustworthy and can be an asset of the company.

They said the credit score itself isn’t significant but that the company still requires the report. And then it linked me to a website to complete and print out my score and said a copy of it needs to be brought to the interview.

They said they only have 48 hours to set up interviews (but today is a Friday + it’s the July 4 holiday weekend) and that replying to the email after completing the credit score step is a mandatory step to confirm your position for an interview.

Is this a scam??

Also, I got a copy of my application attached at the bottom of the email but it looks like I got the version that the hiring manager sees on their end?? It says “your job, ____ coordinator, has a new applicant who meets all qualifications!” so idk what that’s about.
