I was told i could have an interview last Saturday, guy who was supposed to interview me said he needed to reschedule. Its been 5 days and there has been no reschedule. What is going on?

Basically hes come up with various reasons as to why he hasent rescheduled. The first was that he needed a couple of days to sort out new hires. He said this on Monday. Its now Wednesday and i emailed him asking if it was possible to reschedule and he said he was out of the office until August 3rd and its starting to seem suspicious. Is he purposely trying to avoid rescheduling an interview with me?
