Long story short, I worked in a previous call center job and I have some.. well light trauma from my time working there; dealing with all the verbal abuse. My previous contract with said company ended. However, I might have an opportunity to return again to the same company but in a different capacity. One that’s internal facing rather than external which I know I will enjoy a lot more and feel more mentally stable in.
How can I ask about the amount of expected phone use / communication via phone without immediately disqualifying myself where other applicants may not have a problem at all communicating through phone?
Or how can I ask how much I can rely on email communication for my job without them thinking I’m avoiding having to deal with people over the phone?
