How do people “speak” business so well?

So I just joined an organization that deals with Cyber Security. It’s the second week for me and I feel so small.

What I mean by that is I know next to nothing. Sure I know more now than I did on day one, but I’m still very anxious in my ability.

I’ve been on 7+ meetings and I usually have no idea what is being said. These people are talking “business” using verbiage like it’s a second language.

It’s hard to see myself ever getting to that level.
