Written assignment for public affairs role... what to expect and where to prepare?

I have a written assignment for a junior public affairs role in a trade association coming up soon. I just know it will be one hour long, and the recruiter hinted at the fact that it will revolve around last-minute political affairs developments (possibly involving the media). Note, this assignment comes after my second interview (which I think went well)

I have experience working for the public sector, events, social media, and writing reports on short notice. I have never done an interview for a public affairs position though. Any idea on what to expect? tips on how to prepare?
