What are HR/TA entry-level jobs?

I have my AA in Communication, Media and Languages. Talent Acquisition and Internal Comm is super interesting to me. I would eventually like to become a leader as something along the lines of VP of People and Culture freelancing with companies to improve their work culture to help retain employees and welcome new ones! I am going to school to pursue my BA in Communication or Public Relations, but I would love to explore the a TA/Internal Comm/HR role as I think I would really enjoy it!

What are entry-level roles for this? What is your daily routine, and how much of a work-life balance can you achieve in this field? What are the pros and cons? Any additional advice helps, thanks in advance!
