I finished school less than a year ago & am having a hard time finding a job. I'm an EE major and have been searching for jobs in my field for a while. I've done an internship & have professional research experience.
All the jobs either require at least a year of experience or me being familiar in some specific language, software or specialized aspect of engineering that wasn't apart of my school's curriculum. Granted, I live in a relatively competitive tech market. I know the basics. I don't have a year's worth of experience or a specialized skill. I'm a new grad.
It lowkey feels like some BS. Was wondering if has been anyone's experience coming out of college.
