Thank you note - really matter?

In a bit of a situation. Had an interview today, and I can’t send a thank you note to my interviewer because I don’t have their email.

I sent an email to the person who set up my interview, but haven’t heard back (it’s been 4 hours or so).

What’s the window to send these things? Feel like I might miss it.
