I had my first day yesterday at this place that hired me almost over a month ago. It was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a new job. Everyone I introduced myself to wasn’t very friendly or helpful. They are very disorganized and never gave me a schedule just told me to come in on June 7th at 1pm. When I got there they said I was on the schedule for 10:30, a schedule I never saw. They couldn’t give me a definite answer for when I was leaving that day but on this schedule another manager put 6:30 as my leaving time. They put me in a room for 4.5 hours doing training on a computer, no one talked to me but I needed a break. The manager tells me to go on it in 30 minutes and that I’ll be staying till 8:30.
I already have another job on the line that I start in a couple weeks so I’m not sure if I should go in for my shift today or even call them about it since i haven’t done “official training.” Is there even a point in me putting in my two weeks if they haven’t officially trained me?
