I'm really interested in a position. Is it odd or bad to ask the hiring manager what I can or should do to be successful during interview process to get hired?

I'm working on finding a new job and there's a particular one that seems to check every single box for me. I'm very interested in this position. However I'm worried about getting hired since I don't really do well during technical portions of interviews (I'm an engineer) and honestly my technical background isn't that great (I really need to do some studying and refresh things). I honestly believe I am a good candidate because I do have a lot of breadth but not the most depth on some topics. I also get pretty nervous during the technical portions of interviews.

Anyways is it weird or bad to ask the hiring manager basically what I can do to be successful and get hired?
