I’ve been a bachelors degree graduate for 1 year now and have only worked for 3 months. As a 2020 grad, my class finished when corona really hit the scene. Getting a job then was difficult but we got help from the government through monthly payments. I finally landed a jobs after hundreds of applications in December. It was a 6 month contract but I was planning to stay on because they said there was possibility of extension if they liked you. Met a lot of great ppl, made friends, fit in with the company. BUT my manager was terrible. She was only 1 year older than me, with no managerial experience. Eventually it became obvious she was insecure through a number of actions and things she had said/done. I complained to HR and they just terminated my contract 3 months in, at the end of March. I had passed the probation period, and had lots of staff commenting on my hard work. I worked overtime regularly, and was dedicated.
Fast forward to today, I heard back from another company that I hadn’t gotten the job I interviewed for, and at first honestly, I was a little surprised. The interview had gone so well. But later on in the afternoon I began to panic. Would love some advice on how to deal with the anxiety. Thanks everyone
