Should I bring up working from another state for a week?

Going to be visiting some family in another state for a week in about a month.

A few weeks ago I asked my boss if this was allowed and she said “I can check for you if you want. It’s usually just to do stuff and see what happens”.

Does this seem like a “winking yes” to you?

Should I bring it up to her again or should I just do it?

I’ll have WiFi, my headset, my laptop, and my mouse. We connect using Pulse Secure so I don’t see why it wouldn’t let me?

It’s a bit multinational corporation, so I assume the VPN would let me in and everything.
