I recently did two interviews for a company and near the end of the second interview they mentioned that there were a couple of candidates left to interview, they also mentioned that they would update me on their decision. Two days go by, they called me saying “We have decided on the choice to move forward with you, please send us 3 references and we will contact you” etc.
Does this sound like I have secured the position? Or should I not keep my hopes up too high.
